Can the products in the GERDOff® range be bought without a prescription?

Yes, you do not need a prescription to buy these products.

What is the difference between the different GERDOff® formulations?

Both products are indicated for treating gastro-oesophageal reflux.

GERDOff® melt-in-mouth tablets stimulates salivation which, combined with the adhesive action of chondroitin sulphate, helps the ingredients to be distributed evenly along the oropharyngeal tract.

GERDOff® Protection, in sachets and syrup, also has a refreshing and calming action, thanks to the honey and aloe it contains. It is also indicated for preventing damage caused by the irritant action of stomach acids.

Do the products in the GERDOff® range contain gluten and lactose?

All the products in the GERDOff® range are gluten-free and lactose-free.

Should the products in the GERDOff® range be taken before or after meals?

We recommend that the products in the GERDOff® range are taken after main meals and at bedtime, or as needed if symptoms such as stomach pain and heartburn appear (on medical advice).

Can children take GERDOff®?

GERDOff® can be taken by children from the age of 6; children aged from 6 to 12 should take the product only after consulting their doctor.

Can I take GERDOff® during pregnancy and when breastfeeding?

There are no particular contraindications for taking it while pregnant or breastfeeding, but, as for all products taken during pregnancy, consult your doctor first.

If I have a tickly cough and I feel an annoying lump in my throat, could it be gastro-oesophageal reflux?

Symptoms such as a chronic tickly cough, hoarseness and a lump (feeling of something stuck) in your throat are symptoms that can also be atypical symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux.
